Third Erasmus day in Vilnius

Today students have designed mind maps representing their idea of life without stress. We also had an introducing and interesting session of C++ programming.

Then the teachers had a nice talk about teacher anxiety and later on we headed to our students' PE class. The music was lively and invited to join in , so Pina and I participated. It was so much fun :)

After school, some of the teachers went shopping and sightseeing and our students had also something to do in the evening, Non stop :)

Second Erasmus day in Vilnius

Second  day in Lithuania, a fantastic day, as the previous ones. :)

Students made the presentations they had been working on in their own countries. Later on, we attended the Love song contest, in which Italy and Cyprus also participated. We had lunch together at the school's canteen and after that we went to our hotel to have a rest before going to the ballet, Romeo and Juliet, with superb musicians and dancers. We ended the night having dinner in a nice restaurant and telling jokes :) I know that students had a busy evening as well, with cinema and a birthday celebration :)

First Erasmus day in Vilnius

It's been a wonderful day. We had and very nice welcome the minute we crossed the school's gate; and then we enjoyed the students 'superb dancing and singing plus the mimes' performance . We were taught some Lithuanian language and songs and later on we participated in a Indian workshop bracelet. Some of us were better than others ;)

We were offered lunch for free in the canteen as well as a tour in the city, led by an expert guide. After having a rest, we had dinner together at a traditional restaurant and had fun there. It's hard to imagine a better day:) Congratulations, Irina for all the work you've prepared.

Our first day in Vilnius

We met the students at 5:30 at Terminal 2, the airport of Barcelona. Everyone was very excited. some parents cried when they kissed their daughters goodbye.

The flight was fine and we landed on time. Irina and the families were there waiting for us. We were surprised to see snow. We hadn't expected it.

Our students set out with their host families and Irina took us to our hotel in the city centre, Amberton. It's very nice and comfortable, by the way.

Carlos and I had lunch in a shopping centre nearby and then decided to go to the Akropolis, another shopping centre with some cinemas. Despite the fact that Irina had warned us that some taxi drivers cheat on tourists, we paid three times more for our trip to the Akropolis.
